Kinderdijk - A step back in time !!

Holland has a special bond with it's authentic windmills. There are close to 600 windmills throughout the country and you can find them almost everywhere. Some of them are still operational, some of them are converted to museum where visitors can have a looks and understand how they worked in old times and what they were used for, and there are some place where windmills got converted into kind of hotels where people can stay over night in the windmill.Visitors from all around the world come to Netherlands for windmills and places like Kinderdijk, Zaanse schaans are quite popular. I have covered both the places and my this post is about kinderdijk. Me and my husband decided to take a half day trip to kinderdijk since we have heard about the place so much. It's an hour drive from Amsterdam. So finally we were at kinderdijk. It was rather a crowded place with cars, bicycles and few motorcycles. Windmills are only accessible by foot, by bike and a boat. From the parking lot
